CRYSERV CLIENT
Game Client - Mandatory Update
Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1098.0 )
• Revised picking up of incendiary ammunition and grenades for the grenade launcher attachment
• Added to the FGL40 also a reload indicator, so players can see when the next shot is ready
• Further optimization of the revised weapon reload times
• Fixed that players could buy ammunition outside of service zones
• Fixed that you could not get ammunition in service zones for a spawned MP5, SPARC and PAX on a client server
• Auto complete entries on client servers extended by vehicle modifications
• SCARTutorial rubber bullet magazine increased from 30 to 40 rounds
→ Standardization with the SCAR standard magazine
• SCAR incendiary ammunition magazine reduced from 40 to 30 rounds
→ Standardization with the FY71, besides in the buy menu there are also only 30-round magazines for this type of ammunition
Another update, because the animation times on servers were not kept correctly for some weapons, so we had to add another variable, especially for the servers. With this last adjustment we think we have finally found the perfect compromise between weapon handling and visual immersion.
Thanks to
GraafiK / PoK for reporting one of the bugs fixed in this update.

• TAC and Singularity tanks now have an ammunition capacity of two rounds, so an additional projectile can be purchased directly
• Price adjustment of incendiary ammunition from 50 to 25 PP

• Fixed that the muzzle flash effect was no longer displayed when switching from 3rd to 1st view
• Various minor optimizations and adjustments ( 59 sub-items ( only fixed bugs this time ) )
An incredible 71 bug fixes have been added up in this update ... and the best thing is, only three of them are our own bugs that had crept in π. In addition, the functionality of the service zones in Power Struggle has been expanded.
Since we had to make changes to the XML files in this update, it unfortunately has to be a Mandatory Update so that nobody gets kicked from a server when file check is enabled on it.

A few small adjustments, some bug fixes in the original code ... nothing more really π , ... when I created the new Phoenix.dll today, I was surprised that it had added up to over 900 lines of C++ code that had to be changed π.
As many XML files have changed and are also prerequisites for the new client version in C++, this must be a Mandatory Update, server operators will need to replace the *.pak file to ensure that nobody gets kicked from the server when file check is enabled on it.

Updating to Voluntary Updates
Since we have noticed that Voluntary Updates are rarely installed, even though they can contain important improvements, we have adapted the multiplayer menu so that you can now also download and install these updates conveniently from within the game ( the Steam Deck is excluded ).
Local Muting of Players ( Voice, Chat, Radio )
You can use the local mute function in the Scoreboard by pressing the space bar when the Scoreboard is open and clicking on the loudspeaker symbol for the desired player with the mouse.

Various minor adjustments ( 1 sub-item )
With the revised suit-shortcuts, I noticed after the release in the game that the changed selection for Cloak-Mode is occasionally triggered accidentally in the heat of battle when picking up items. I have therefore reworked the whole thing a bit so that it should no longer lead to unintentional triggering of the Cloak-Mode in this way.
Since some of the bugs fixed in this version had to be fixed on the client and server side, a Mandatory Update.

• German and English menu localization revised ( duplicate and incorrect designations )
• Suit-Shortcuts revised ( character animations are no longer triggered for nothing )

→ 2x Use Button, if a player is not in Cloak-Mode triggers now the Cloak-Mode
→ 2x Sprint Button, if a player is in Speed-Mode triggers now the Armor-Mode
→ 2x Sprint ( + Forward ) Button, if a player is not in Seed-Mode triggers the Speed-Mode ( as before )
• Fixed that after unloading server resources a user action was requested after startup
• Fixed incorrect character animation speed when using Toggle Crouch
• Fixed incorrect display of the number of grenades in vehicles
• Various minor adjustments ( 4 sub-items )
In this update, some things have been improved that had crept in due to the changes and adjustments in the last updates ( the usual madness of software development π
). A very annoying bug was that a user interaction was required to decide whether the game should be restored when switching servers if the resources of the other server had to be unloaded beforehand.
Apart from that, I have reworked the suit shortcuts, as it has been bothering me for some time that the character's animations were triggered when you use the armor- and cloak- mode via this functionality. In my opinion, the reassignment makes them much more accessible and usable ( feedback is welcome ).

• Menu option added to be able to configure: Field of View
• Menu option added to be able to configure: Crouch Toggle
• Menu option added to be able to configure: Prioritize Prone
• Menu option added to be able to configure: Legacy Iron-Sight
• All menu sliders extended so that they always show the set value
• Fixed incorrect holding position of the MP5 when using the Legacy Iron-Sight view
• Fixed incorrect holding position of the SPARC when using the Legacy Iron-Sight view
• Various minor adjustments ( 56 sub-items )
The
Alternate Legacy Iron-Sight, which some players obviously like to use, is now configurable again. As the holding position of the MP5 and SPARC were incorrect in this view, they were adjusted accordingly.
Being able to change the FOV permanently and conveniently via the menu was a request that we have often received as feedback in recent months, as none of us want a player to be able to configure an all-round view ( we all know that someone would do it ππ
), a minimum and maximum value has been defined for this.
We hope that we have been able to meet the wishes of some players with these changes π.
