UPDATE

CRYSERV CLIENT  Game Client - Mandatory Update

Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1119.0 )
Added independent Hurricane barrel spinning, allowing rotation without firing
Changed weapon behavior to prevent firing from continuing when a weapon becomes raised
Changed weapon behavior to block reloading while a weapon is raised
Rebalanced Hurricane, Gauss Rifle, and DSG1 to better match their intended roles
→ Hurricane: Spin-up time changed to the original value, i.e. 70% slower
→ Hurricane: Damage changed to the original value, i.e. from 24 to 21
→ Hurricane: Added overheating to limit sustained fire
→ Gauss Rifle + DSG1: Reduced spread and recoil while standing still
Fixed tripod weapons potentially becoming buggy when disconnecting during use
Improved clarity by hiding inventory ammunition when unlimited reloadable ammo is active
Various additional fixes, optimizations, and improvements ( 16 sub-items )

The standout addition in this update is the ability to rotate the Hurricane’s barrel independently of firing. This small but noticeable feature improves responsiveness and visual feedback, while remaining fully optional and preserving the weapon’s original behavior.

The Hurricane was overperforming, so it has been rebalanced to better align with overall gameplay. Further adjustments may follow if additional tuning is needed.

As usual, a few small issues only showed up after the update went live - pretty typical, right 😅 ?

The gun turret barrels were rotating in a different direction than all other barrel-based weapons. This particular kind of madness 😵‍💫 had to be stopped.

In addition, this update fixes several minor issues from the previous update, as well as a few additional bugs. That should cover everything for now. No further surprises are expected 🫡.

Updated the C1-Launcher ( Crysis.exe ) to version V8
Various minor optimizations and adjustments ( 16 sub-items )

Comrade released the new version of the C1-Launcher yesterday in version 8. We have been using version 6 here on CryServ for the past two years, as the original Crysis.exe causes many issues on Windows 10 and especially Windows 11.

We have been testing version 8 internally for about a week now, and the game is significantly more stable. Most importantly, it is finally fully usable in 4K. I personally experienced only a single crash in approximately 20 hours of usage.

We hope you enjoy these changes, and as always, we appreciate your feedback.

UPDATE

CRYSERV CLIENT  Game Client - Mandatory Update

Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1114.0 )
The AV-Machinegun now features auto-zoom functionality, in line with the ShiTen and AH-Machinegun
Revive-related post-processing and fade effects are now consistently cleared
Vehicle windows now remain transparent when vehicles are in a frozen state
Multiple material issues related to the frozen layer have been resolved
Fixed the scoreboard remaining visible after map changes when alt-tabbing back into the game on Windows 11
Fixed UI animations playing too fast after alt-tabbing back into the game ( Credits to FAPP )
Various minor optimizations and adjustments ( 27 sub-items )

Some fixes in this update are another example of issues that seem minor until they’re resolved - the lingering screen effects after respawn being one of them. Once fixed, it becomes clear how distracting and out of place they actually were.

Vehicle windows are now completely transparent when vehicles are in a frozen state, matching the transparency that was already correctly set on some vehicles. This significantly improves first-person visibility, as the freezing effect previously made driving from this perspective very difficult - or nearly impossible.

UPDATE

CRYSERV CLIENT  Game Client - Mandatory Update

Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1112.0 )
Resolved issues with Explosives and Glass Surfaces
Resolved issues with Ammunition and Glass Surfaces
Various minor optimizations and adjustments ( 4 sub-items )

In Crysis, explosives such as frag grenades, smoke grenades, EMP grenades, and flashbangs were unable to pass through glass surfaces. Instead, they would always bounce back as if hitting an invisible wall - even when the glass had already been destroyed. This often led to unintended situations where players would accidentally harm themselves.

This issue has now been fixed. Explosives can now properly break glass when thrown and can also be thrown through already shattered windows without being blocked. In addition, some ammunition types had issues penetrating glass reliably - this has also been fixed.

UPDATE

CRYSERV CLIENT  Game Client - Mandatory Update

Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1111.0 )
Added missing "?" key to the virtual chat keyboard
Corrected 😋 emoji mapping to ":p"
Corrected 😛 emoji mapping to ":P"

After the release, we noticed that two emoji mappings were unintentionally reversed, and that the original virtual keyboard was missing a “?” key entirely. To fully wrap up this Tier 2 topic, we’ve applied these fixes immediately, before too many of you downloaded today’s update.

Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1110.0 )
Chat System Revision ( Tier 2 of 3 )
→ Input language is now auto-detected based on character set and shown in the chat UI
→ Console output transliteration now supports multiple languages within the same line
→ Better readability on light backgrounds thanks to added text shadows
→ Multiple input languages are now supported within the same line
→ Copy/Paste now supports Unicode characters ( such as Cyrillic )
→ The adaptive cursor is replaced with a native text cursor
→ Emoji support added ( Initial set of 29 )
→ Support for 35-40 languages now
A virtual keyboard is now available for chat when using a gamepad
Fixed post-game input filters not behaving as originally intended
Fixed erratic vehicle movement caused by broken glass fragments
Fixed chat interaction issues when normal and radio chat were opened simultaneously
Various minor optimizations and adjustments ( 12 sub-items )

Emojis have become a natural and widely accepted part of modern chat communication. To enhance expressiveness and usability, we’ve added emoji support to the in-game chat.

With Tier 1, we introduced several foundational chat improvements, including Cyrillic support, copy & paste, a chat command history with arrow-key navigation, a remaining character counter, increased character limits, and an adaptive cursor. All of these systems have now been revised and expanded as part of Tier 2.

We hope you enjoy these changes, and as always, we appreciate your feedback.
