UPDATE

CRYSERV - PHOENIX & PHOENIX-BASE & nTEC  Server Files - Mandatory Update

Patch Notes ( v.1.0.1032.0 )
Phoenix: Maximum number of players increased to 64 players
Phoenix: Added configurable explosive capacities via CVars on server-side ( .. the client HUD also shows the correct numbers )
Phoenix: Added fully configurable ammunition capacities on server-side ( .. the client HUD also shows the correct numbers )
Phoenix: Various minor adjustments and optimizations
Phoenix: Enclosed installation instructions revised
Phoenix: Server.cfg files revised
Phoenix: C++ API documentation extended
nTEC: Optional Plugin and customized nTEC.pak added to enable the use of the additional FPS-Weapons MP5 and SPARC
nTEC: Added new configuration options for the maximum possible number of explosives

... Regarding the maximum player limit
Simply increasing the number is not enough. If you only increase the number, depending on the map and what the players are doing on the server, it becomes unplayable from a number of 42 to 46 players. You have to keep in mind that Crytek intended a maximum of 32 players on a server, so it's logical that you can't just double the number like that.

I have been using now own server Dll's since 2010. And I know how many optimizations and adjustments were necessary until they could keep stable around 60 players. Which is also tested many times until the shutdown of Gampespy. Anyway, these adjustments were implemented in the last version of Phoenix and therefore now this change, regardless of the actual number of players.

Regarding the adjustable ammunition capacities
There is a simple mode using CVars as well as an advanced option through which everything can be adjusted. This second option is also suitable for temporary map-related changes.

Regarding the MP5 and SPARC
The CryServ-Client already supports these two additional FPS-Weapons since 2014. These are not included in nTEC by default, as nTEC is oriented towards the original game experience of Crysis Wars.

nTEC: Minor adjustments and optimizations

... There are thousands of changes in this Phoenix version, all improvements, optimizations that are noticeable in the better overall performance and especially under load.

The changes in the Lua parts are limited to what is necessary due to the actions of some people who only download here and do not participate - besides, everything runs well and clean anyway and does not require major interventions.

UPDATE

CRYSERV CLIENT  Game Client - Mandatory Update

Patch Notes ( v.1.0.1033.0 )
Fixed a bug that allowed the reactivation of the LOW SPEC settings

Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1032.0 )
Added automatic detection and handling for missing Minimaps
Optimization made for customizable buy menus in PowerStruggle ( event handling related )
It is no longer possible to play online with LOW SPEC because of the unfair advantages they give

Patch Notes ( v.1.0.1031.0 )
Internal test version for prototyping ( LOW SPEC and automatic Minimap handling )

... Regarding the automatic adjustment of LOW SPEC settings
The physics are now always the same for all players, the visibility of objects is equalized so the gap and thus the frustration between the different specs is no longer present. This way, no one should be forced to choose the worst gameplay and experience any longer just to keep up with the competition!

In local network games as well as launched from within the game you can still handle this as you like.

MAP PREVIEW

TOY WARS  Instant-Action

Dj Copniker took the trouble a few days ago and adapted a InstantAction -Map that was only playable with an additional mod pack and make it usable for all of us in the Crysis Wars Multiplayer. The map was originally created by Gvido Murnieks in 2010.

The theme of the map is basically like "Kitchen Wars", you are miniaturized in a large environment. The scene is in a child's room where there are really a lot of details and gimmicks to discover. You can really see the time and effort that was put into this map.

A big thank you to Dj Copniker for all the effort and time he continues to put into Crysis Wars and in CryServ.

» The map has been added to the download section.

CRYSERV CLIENT  Game Client - Mandatory Update

Patch Notes ( v.2.0.1029.0 )
Added support for cloaked vehicle devices for Phoenix ( previously only iTEC )
Added support for customizable original buy menus in PowerStruggle for Phoenix ( previously only iTEC )
Added FY71 incendiary ammunition to the original buy menus in PowerStruggle ( iTEC only for now )
HD Nanosuit now added by default ( The Nanosuit should also look contemporary not like 2008 )

... Vehicle Cloaking Devices
A cloaking device can be added to any vehicle, this couples with the driver's Nanosuit when he gets in and he can control the whole thing that way. The energy consumption of the vehicles can be set separately on the server side. If the driver runs out of energy or he shoots, he is immediately unmasked as it is with the Nanosuit itself.

... Customizable Original Buy Menus
Additional vehicles are displayed including a description in the original buy menus, also any vehicle entry can be removed or adjusted in price. Furthermore, you can activate the TacGun for the Proto.

The 2020 iTEC already supports these functions, some of them for 1.5 years now. Starting with the next Phoenix update in a few days, these features will be available to everyone. Everything is optional, of course, and can but does not have to be used :) .

GENERAL

CRYSERV WEBSITE

Welcome to the new web presence of the 2020 from scratch recreated CryServ-System, which has been providing an alternative platform for the Crysis Wars Multiplayer since 2014.

Despite all care it can be that you still find errors on the website. These will be fixed in the next few days, of course. The German Language Support as well as the Player Stats will be added with one of the the next updates. Until then you can check the Player Stats on pretty much every server in the system.

Deployment Plan ... of the features that are yet missing

 Stage 1 → Leaderboard Player Stats → 100 % | 2021-06-27
 Stage 2 → Player Stats Detail View → 100 % | 2021-07-02
 Stage 3 → Website Speed Optimization → 100 % | 2021-07-05
 Stage 4 → German Language Support → 100 % | 2021-12-24

INTRODUCING CRYSERV 2.0

The new system was created to preserve the positive aspects of the first version but without the limitations it contains. It is more open and offers a wider range of functions and possibilities. You can play here Crysis Wars in Vanilla or Modded with your own or one of the SSMs offered by me.

Operator of this system is myself, the Creator of the first ( I have had absolutely nothing to do with the first system since April 2016 and would like to distance myself explicitly from the practices there since then ) and now second CryServ-System. This means that there is support and regular updates for this version. Contact persons in general are Dj-Copniker, Furyaner ( me ) and Mellhouse.

As some people prove again and again, unfortunately, it does not work without a few basic rules, therefore the following ...

GENERAL RULES FOR USE

 ◇ No insults, racist remarks or third-party advertising in the server-/ player- name or in the server info message.
 ◇ No disturbing of the general peace by spreading hate, lies or by general non-respectful behavior.
 ◇ Maximum two servers per person or group with standard access and maximum one per premium access.
 ◇ No copying of servers or use of their own content without their permission.

We are all here for the game. So let's also just play and have fun :) .

GENERAL

LANGUAGE SETTING AND FILES  Crysis Wars - Version 1.5

Because the new version of CryServ currently ( for now ) only supports German and English ... I have added the English language files for version 1.5 to the download section, you can find them at "Game-Files » Add-Ons" along with installation instructions.

If you already have the language installed and just don't know how to set it ...

The localization files are located in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Game\Localized". The file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Game\Localized\Default.lng" contains the currently active language.

In this file you need to adjust the information for the corresponding language as below

 # German
 Language = "German
 PAK = "German.pak"

 # English
 Language = "English
 PAK = "English.pak"

NOTE: This instruction refer to the default installation path.
